"Located in the Grande Colonial Hotel on (910) Prospect Street, NINE-TEN is definitely one of the best restaurants in La Jolla for a menu determined by what is in season while still keeping some guest favorites on the menu. It’s perfect for a night out, whether it’s a celebration or just date night. The veteran Executive Chef, Jason Knibb, has been at the helm for the past decade and trained under highly-respected names like Wolfgang Puck."
"Nine-Ten (located within the Grande Colonial Hotel) offers an unparalleled dining experience day of the year, November 22nd being no exception!. This year they are offering a three-course, prix-fixe meal for $75 per person ($110 with wine pairings). In addition to the chefs’ dedication to using only the freshest local products, their innovative and creative style guarantees a unique meal that’s worth the visit."

"Coastline views set the scene for a night of luxurious La Jolla fine dining. Savor fresh seafood and steaks—hand cut and aged for more than 28 days—while you relax and bask in the calm atmosphere. Check the live jazz calendar to see who takes the stage in the V Lounge each night."
"If your dad prefers lunch tacos over brunch fare, then Puesto La Jolla is the top choice!. Puesto boasts some of the most authentic and delicious Mexican food in town, and is always a great family choice because of the casual atmosphere. They’re open on Saturday from 11am to 10pm, and on Sunday from 11am to 9pm."
"The La Jolla outpost of Puesto is a bit smaller than some of the others but packs the same punch in offering quality Mexican food with inventive, modern twists. Lesser-known is that they have recently ramped up their dessert options."
"Where: 1421 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92103 This lively Mexican restaurant creates a party vibe with a festive atmosphere and extensive menu of margaritas. Everyone is welcome at this "Home, Sweet Homo", and you're guaranteed to have a fabulous Betty experience. Baja Betty's is a great place to go for Taco Tuesdays and Bubbles and Brunch on weekends."
"Sometimes mom and dad want a bloody Mary or mimosa with breakfast. While on vacation, indulge in a greasy, calorie-laden breakfast with a cocktail at MaryJane’s Diner in the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. Even their omelets seem imbued with some sort of magic potion (cream, I suspect)."

"True to its name, this local chain with locations in Liberty Station, East Village, Encinitas, Ocean Beach, and North Park serves up a mean breakfast. Standout items include the cinnamon roll pancakes, shrimp and grits, and the Breakfast Sammie, made with thick-cut applewood-smoked bacon marinated in paprika and brown sugar with a sunny-side up egg (dubbed by us to be one of the best in SD). Owner Johan Engman (who also owns and operates three Fig Tree Café outposts) is looking to expand his breakfast brand even further with the debut of North Park Breakfast Co. this summer."
"This is a unique California-inspired restaurant with the chicken and the egg as the center of the menu. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are available, I had the chilaquiles and my kids tried a pancake flight."
"Our famous chain of fish taco restaurants, Rubio’s, has a rather nice dine-in space here with beer and wine options. Ralph Rubio is a La Jollan. Local kids like the kids’ meal with a folded up quesadilla and churro."
"SuperNatural's menu of seven "sea-to-sandwich" signatures - ranging from the garlic-shrimp Siren to the bacon and scallop-stuffed Neptune, plus "sinister" subs like Korean steak iteration Chimera – make it one of the fastest and tastiest lunch stops in Miramar. Sides include togarashi shrimp chips and a creamy scallop bacon chowder."
