"When you come to this brewery, you’re not just getting a tasting room — you’re also getting an incredible beer garden that you’ll want to stay in all afternoon. Established in 1989, this beer brewing company exemplifies the Southern California lifestyle with its refreshing brews and laid-back atmosphere. "Many locals will tell you that this place is known for brewing some choice IPAs. And it’s probably their attention to detail and dedication to consistency that makes their brews so good. This brewery has a fully equipped tasting room and brewery tours, and will even fill up a growler for you to take home."
"With over 500 excellent reviews on Yelp, Societe Brewing is one of the best local breweries in San Diego. The brewery has an open design, allowing for a large group to comfortably fit on their community bench tables. Many visitors like their Belgian style beers and the Pupil medium-bodied IPA."

"Located in Seaport Village, the location features 23 handles of local craft beer and an extensive menu of tacos, burritos and more. Enjoy the view from an elevated patio watching the Navy ships, boaters, or just people watching—there is plenty to watch!. "The floating walkway that cuts through the brewing tanks is a highlight of this space — you really feel like you’re in the thick of a working brewery in this taproom. It’s unassuming and very chill, and the beers on tap — a list that includes a lot of IPAs — number more than a dozen."
"North Park is rearing to go and The Original 40 Brewing Company couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome back guests for outdoor dining!. There’s no duo more iconic than the location’s juicy OG Burger, piled high with lettuce, red onion, tomato, white cheddar cheese and garlic aioli served with house-cut fries, coupled with one of their house-brewed beers. Get your fill Monday through Thursday from 3PM to 9PM, Friday and Saturday from noon to 10PM, and Sunday from noon to 8PM."
"The brewhouse is open to the taproom but even so, the space feels surprisingly homey (possibly because of the wall of plants). On any given day, there are about 15 of the brewery’s beers on tap plus a handful of guest brews. Particularly nice is the fact that there’s a small wine list, so if someone in your group isn’t a beer lover, they can still have a drink."
"3117 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92104(619) 255-7380Read About Their Journey Here$$ | Brewery. Disclaimer: When I visited I was provided complimentary service. My opinions are my own."
"After the Knotty Barrel restaurant in East Village launched, the owners decided it made sense to start making their own beer in Downtown San Diego. Since then, the in-house brewery, tasting room, and beer garden has been a popular spot (popular enough to warrant a second location in Rancho Penasquitos). The sheer variety may be the biggest draw."
"Situated on top of a cliff, the Old Point Loma Lighthouse used to be the most elevated lighthouse in the United States. It was so tall, in fact, that the clouds often hid it from view, so lighthouse keepers would fire shotguns at approaching ships to keep them away. Things are much less dramatic now, but the Old Point Loma Lighthouse is still great in terms of San Diego attractions."
"It commemorates the landing of Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo at San Diego Bay on September 28, 1542; first time that a European expedition had set foot on what later became the west coast of the United States. The lighthouse, which is often used to depict San Diego, dates from 1855 and was decommissioned in 1891. Both are part of the National Park Service."
"This historic lighthouse stands watch over the San Diego Bay at Cabrillo National Monument. It has magnificent birds-eye views of the bay and is a fantastic photo spot. The cost to enter Cabrillo National Monument is $20/car or $10/individual on foot or a bike."
"This newest addition to the Cookie Monster menu is next level. This Monster Donut is an ice cream-stuffed donut where you can get multiple ice cream flavors. Cookie Monster serves some of the most colorful and delicious ice cream flavors."
