"Hanis Cavin and Sarah Stroud’s wildly popular counter-service spot is revered for its pork sandwiches and craft beer. While the menu changes daily their signature triple threat pork sandwich, shack fries and carnitas tacos usually always feature. Those seeking slightly lighter fare should look no further than the Snack Shack Cobb salad and/or the veggie burger."
"I loved Carnitas Snack Shack when it was a hole in the wall in a not-so-glamorous section of town. It was so good that word soon got out and Carnitas Snack Shack expanded, then contracted, and now has the ideal location right on the Embarcadero on the bay. Pork-centric and Farm-to-Table, Carnitas Snack Shack is foodie paradise."
"We hadn’t either until we went to Carnitas Snack Shack, home of all things pork related, from the carnitas they’re named for to bacon and pulled pork. Carnitas’ unique takes on pork, like the decadent pork belly appetizer, are worth treating yourself to if you’re headed to North Park or Del Mar."

Beer-friendly food, like burgers and loaded fries can be had at Burgers and Bites and Seahorse Coffee keeps you fueled with coffee and tea drinks, smoothies, specialty drinks, and an array of pastries, bowls, and paninis. "The DePhilippis family would like to welcome you and your family to visit our restaurants to Celebrate National Pizza... From a family line of restaurants that dates back to the 1950s, this place serves authentic Italian cuisine for all. Kids get to choose from spaghetti, ravioli, or lasagna with choice of meatball or sausage."
"Filippi’s has one thing that the others do not and that’s a freaking parking lot!. That should bring a huge smile to your face knowing you can just pull in and park versus circling the blocks like a vulture hoping someone might leave. Second, they check every box for what you think an old school Italian restaurant should be."
"This mom and pop bakery has everything from pastry, cakes and breads to Vietnamese and Cantonese steamed buns and even fruit smoothies. Regulars rave about the authentic meat buns. Standouts are the pork with egg and sausage with taro and onion."
"Built in 1967, this historic San Diego bridge offers a great perspective for sunrise shots. It's no Golden Gate Bridge, but in the early morning hours, this bridge really stands out as something unique. The perspective of this shot was taken on the Coronado-side of the bridge near the Coronado Tidelands Park."
"Built in 1967, the Coronado Bridge is an architectural marvel. It’s instantly recognizable as part of the San Diego skyline, and it winds and twists around the bay for a distance of more than 11,000 feet. It even lights up at night!"

Even just walking through this area is a fun experience."

"We had a great time visiting the Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park and actually ended up going twice while we were in San Diego. (Our reciprocal membership made this possible.) It wasn’t the largest Science Center we have been in, but it had a great collection of hands on activities for the kids – including a Lego section. Our favorite part was the Tinker Lab where the kids eyes lit up when they saw tons of cardboard and other fun materials they could use to build whatever they wanted."
"The Fleet is home to Southern California’s only IMAX® Dome Theater and 100+ hands-on science exhibits for all ages. Watch immersive giant-screen films and amazing planetarium shows in the Eugene Heikoff and Marilyn Jacobs Heikoff Dome Theatre and experience seven galleries of fun, interactive exhibits at this popular San Diego attraction."
