"The Henry in Coronado became my favorite place to dine on this last trip we took. We went there twice for breakfast and once for dinner. The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere with an indoor-outdoor feel."
"A welcoming place off of Orange Avenue in Coronado, The Henry is a laid-back spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This cheerful restaurant maintains a relaxed, fun vibe for diners..."
"Crushed is a bar/restaurant and not a coffee shop but this trendy place in Pacific Beach is a good spot to get some work done and either have a delicious brunch or grab a beer while you finish up for the day. Their mimosas are good too!. Downside: they don’t open until 10am on Tuesdays through Thursdays (8am on other days)."
The Waffle Spot

Long-running diner at the King's Inn serving breakfast fare amid playful murals.
"Werewolf is a New American pub in the Gaslamp Quarter that has really upped its food game at prices that are hard to beat for what you get in the area, especially if you go for all-you-can-eat tacos for $9.95 on Tuesdays. The space is dominated by a par that has 33 beer taps and great cocktails. Most of the food is made from scratch and ranges from salads to gourmet sandwiches to hearty breakfasts."
"Werewolf has seating for dining at a mix of booths and high top tables. Some walls are hung with TVs, others with framed portraits; a back wall that glitters gold was assembled by a score of spent bullet shells. Two signature burgers from their other bars’ menus have carried over here, in addition to a couple of favourite appetizers."
